Day 2 - Off the Road

Made coffee (like we do every morning) and headed off to church.

Stopped by the Muny (outdoor opera house) as you see in the picture above and then went to Fitz's for lunch.

Yummy burgers, great root beer (they bottle it on site!), good times in the outdoor seating. It's in the "cool" part of town, right by Wash U (hopefully, one day, my future alma mater). Naps were definitely in order, then later the grown-up girls went out for custard at Ted Drewe's.

It's actually on Highway 66 and a staple of St. Louis attractions. We stayed up way too late, but it was good to have a restful day after so much driving on Day 1.
